Recent Quotes from Franklin Graham on ISIS and the Muslim faith

Christians are so very blessed to have Franklin Graham speak up so fearlessly on behalf of our faith. He tells it like it is, he invites the Muslims to come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our God, the God of the Bible, our heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ is not the same god as allah. Allah is a false god and everyone needs to recognize this. The following are recent quotes from Franklin Graham on ISIS and the muslim faith and he reminds us that one day all people will bow before the Lord Jesus Christ.

Franklin Graham writes the following:

February 17, 2015...
"The evil of ISIS really shouldn’t shock us--it is fully in keeping with their ultimate agenda of hastening a final apocalypse. God’s Word tells us that there will be a final battle one day, but it will result in the defeat of Satan and all those allied with him. One thing is for sure—one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

March 9, 2015...
"ISIS may try to knock down, blow up, or bulldoze over ancient artifacts in the Middle East to erase its history. But they can never erase the fact that the most important event in history occurred in that part of the world— God sent His Son from Heaven to this earth to pay the price for our sins by dying on a Cross. He died for all of mankind, and that includes ISIS and you and me."

March 7,2015....
"Why do followers of Islam and Christianity react so differently to the public ridicule and mocking of their respective faiths? Christianity has been repeatedly lampooned by Charlie Hebdo, but there have been no riots, assassinations or murderous threats.
Here is what I believe is the fundamental distinction: Christianity has a Savior who has been beaten and battered. A Savior who endured the public ridicule and mockery of crowds as He was stripped and hung on a Roman cross for our sins. A Savior who was betrayed and spat upon and who endured shame and derision so that we might be redeemed.
Our God does not need to be defended. He is holy, all-powerful and eternal. He needs no man to protect His honor. He is the sovereign of the universe who does whatever He pleases, and whose counsel and purpose can never be thwarted. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Creator, Sustainer and End of all things. He will have the last word on the Day of Judgment when all men will bow before Him."

March 4, 2015....
"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו said it well: “Iran and ISIS are competing for the crown of militant Islam. One calls itself the Islamic Republic. The other calls itself the Islamic State. Both want to impose a militant Islamic empire first on the region and then on the entire world. They just disagree among themselves who will be the ruler of that empire. In this deadly game of thrones, there's no place for America or for Israel, no peace for Christians, Jews or Muslims who don't share the Islamist medieval creed, no rights for women, no freedom for anyone…The difference is that ISIS is armed with butcher knives, captured weapons and YouTube, whereas Iran could soon be armed with intercontinental ballistic missiles and nuclear bombs.” Mr. President, wake up to the very real threat of Islam."

March 3, 2015.....
"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a powerful speech today before a joint session of Congress. He made the case that the greatest threat to the world is the marriage of militant Islam and nuclear weapons. He called for an end to Iranian aggression and contrasted America with Iran--"America's founding document promises life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Iran's founding document pledges death, tyranny, and the pursuit of jihad." Let's pray that our president and our leaders will wake up to the true threat of Islam."

February 18,2015...
"Mohammed is dead and buried in Medinah. Jesus Christ is alive and He is sitting at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven. Who do you want to follow, the dead or the living?"

Are you Sleeping Brothers & Sisters??

Jeremiah 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Are you sleeping brother /sister?
There is growing concern today about the sleepy and unwatchful state that our Christian community is in. What is content of the messages that we hear on the radio or TV and in our churches?  In the verse from Jeremiah 5, the leaders are turning away from God. They are allowing sin to affect the community of believers and there is no call to repentance from the leaders. In my opinion, that is pretty much what we are seeing today also. We see warnings being put out by well known Bible teachers (such as Irwin Lutzer, Anne Graham Lotz, Billy Graham, Joel Rosenberg, John McTernan) calls of warnings and calls to repentance from them - But no warnings are coming on a local level. I find it  troubling that, generally speaking, no one in the Christian community at a local level is noticing God speak to us through the world events, the riots among Muslims, financial woes, wars looming, the heat and drought and other weather events we've had this summer, or through the homosexual issues that are surfacing in our communities. It is as though God is shouting to us but it is falling on mostly deaf ears. There is never a mention of any of these global warnings from the pulpits of our churches. It seems that though there are good outreaches to the lost going on in some places, in the majority scope of things, Christians are not noticing any of these warnings but are going on blindly wandering within their own "small bubbles" consummed with the things of this world - money, fashion,TV shows, pleasures, music, movies, travel, etc. Matthew 13: 14-16 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
In my opinion, it is time to open our eyes and ears - look up, listen and watch - and encourage one another to prepare for persecution of our faith, to prepare to stand for truth and righteousness. How are Christians going to be prepared to stand in the face of persecution if they do not even know that it is getting very very close? With the outrage over the controversial movie - the " Innocence of Muslims", we can see that there is a closing-in on of  the freedoms of Christians. Proverbs 6:4-5 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids. Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
As we see rough times approaching, we need to draw ever closer to our Lord Jesus, go deeper with the Lord and spend more time in the Bible and in prayer. We need to alert one another to what is going on around us and encourage each other in the Lord. We need to hear the warning bells sounding from our church pulpits! and we need to hear words of encouragement to prepare!
Hebrews 10: 23-27 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Iran and Islam's Twelfth Imam

As many of you will know, Joel Rosenberg is an excellent and gifted speaker and writer. Some of the books he has written include The Twelfth Imam, The Tehran Initiative, and Epicenter.  He is one of the "watchmen on the wall" of our day. Since I am signed up to receive updates from him, today I received a rather interesting report. I would encourage everyone reading this to also get on his emailing list and visit his blog regularly for interesting and informative updates. His blog address is www.flashtrafficblog.wordpress.com

I would like to share with you parts of what Joel Rosenberg writes today in his report so the following is written by Joel Rosenberg:

IRANIAN DEFENSE MINISTER SAYS WAR WITH ISRAEL MEANS TWELFTH IMAM IS COMING

September 21, 2012 -- An apocalyptic, genocidal death cult is in power in Iran. The mullahs in Tehran believe we are living in the end of days and that the way to hasten the coming of their so-called Islamic messiah known as the Twelfth Imam is to annihilate Judeo-Christian civilization as we know it. I've been writing and speaking about this for years, trying to help the West understand how a fanatical version of Shia End Times theology is driving Iranian foreign policy. Now we have fresh evidence that this is not fiction; it is all too true.

"For the first time, Iran's highest-ranking military official has tied the reappearance of the last Islamic messiah to the regime being prepared to go to a war based on ideology," notes Reza Kahlili, the former Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps officer turned spy for the CIA.
' Shi'ites believe that at the end of time great wars will take place, and Imam Mahdi, the Shi'ites' 12th imam, will reappear and kill all the infidels, raising the flag of Islam in all corners of the world."

As I explain in my two recent novels, The Twelfth Imam and The Tehran Initiative, Shia Muslim leaders are convinced that the Mahdi's arrival and reign is imminent and that the way to hasten or accelerate his return is to either: A) annihilate Israel (which they call the "Little Satan") and the U.S. (which they call the "Great Satan"); or B) to acquire the nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles necessary to annihilate Israel and the U.S. and then let the Mahdi finish the job when he arrives. These two recent novels explore what it would look like and feel like if the Iranian leadership's vision of the future were to begin to come to pass. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I know that Islam is a false religion. Thus, if someone claiming to be the Twelfth Imam emerged on the scene in the Middle East, he wouldn't actually be the true messiah. Rather, he would be a false messiah.

I can't say whether this will happen, but the Bible indicates that it could happen. The Lord Jesus warned in Matthew 24 that in the last days before His return we would see "wars and rumors of wars" as well as the rise of "false messiahs." In fact, Christ warned that the some false messiahs would come and would be able to do "great signs and wonders" in order to mislead as many people as possible, and even try to mislead Christians.

Most importantly, please pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). Please also pray for peace for everyone in the epicenter. After all, the Lord Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers." (Matthew 5:9). We don't want the mullahs in Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons, but we would be so grateful if the Lord neutralized the Iranian nuclear threat in any way other than war. That said, if the Lord does allow war to come for His own sovereign reasons, then let's be praying faithfully for all the followers of Jesus in the region to be bold and courageous in such hard times.

Peace and Comfort in Trying Times...

Isaiah 48: 17-18 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.  O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
God has made each of the four season, each one comes with its own distinct gifts and beauty. Fall has arrived now and again we see how  God has made everything beautiful in its time. I took this photo of our small river that runs by our property. It reminds me to be still and reflect on the Lord and his care for us ( His children) in these dark times.
This past week has brought much turmoil in the world. We see there is no peace in the Arab countries where the Muslims are violently protesting and we ask the question - Where is this all leading to? At just such a time as this we need to be still and remember our Father God Almighty is in control of all things and we need not fear. Psalm 46: 9-11 brings the comfort that we need for today - He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
God is in control, He is the one who will draw the line in the sand ( figuratively speaking) and will only allow the wicked to go so far with their evil schemes. He will raise His arm and put an end to all evil and God will be exalted in all the earth!

Egypt, Muslims and the Movie Innocence of Muslims

2 Corinthians 6: 14-16  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

September 11,2012 was a day that started much turmoil in the world - at least that is what it appears to be. But any of us who have lived for sometime on this earth knows that the things that look like a sudden crisis in our own personal lives or among nations are not sudden at all. In reality it has all been building for a long time. It is the same with this. The idol of tolerance and the rejection of the Bible in our nations has led to the problems we are seeing today. Let me explain my thoughts.

I have not seen the movie that is causing the Muslims to become inflamed but I do not need to because I believe the  movie is only a small part of the problem. Everywhere we go we are told to be tolerant and that we are judgemental when we stand for the teachings of the Bible. It seems that people are trying to destroy the Bible - not only are we told we must tolerate and embrace all other religions but we are also told we must embrace the sin of homosexuality.  For many years now, the idea of "tolerance" has been idolized in our schools, churches, governments etc. President Obama is a big part of this tolerance movement. He has bowed to tolerance in many areas where as the President of the USA (a country that the entire world looks to for leadership) he should have stood firm on the principles of the Bible. President Obama has bowed to the homosexuals, the gay and lesbians and has corrupted the nation by opposing the Biblical stand on marriage. Just as he bows to the homosexuals, he also bows to the Muslims. We have seen over and over again how he bends over backward so to speak in order not to offend the Muslims. The Christian community to a large part is doing the same. However we as Christians are not to live in this way. Christian love tells the truth even when it is not popular or politically correct. We stand firm in our faith in the Lord Jesus and do not give in to the evil in the world. We stand against the sin of homosexuality, against pornography, and we do not embrace and tolerate all faiths. There is no religion or faith like Christianity. If we are accused of being intolerant - so be it. Together with the apostle Peter we say : Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Our Lord Jesus used strong words against his opponents in Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
We stand for the one and only true God, the LORD God Almighty ( Creator of Heaven and earth) and the only way of salvation is through our Lord Jesus Christ. His death on the cross paid for our sin.
Romans 14: 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Having said that, I understand the movie in question here ridicules Muhammad. As Christians, we do not stand for ridicule in such an important matter as faith. The truth must be told but not with ridicule. We are called upon to tell the truth, Jesus is the only way to salvation. There is no salvation in any other, not in Muhammad and Alah, not in Hinduism or Budhism. The urgency is real - if people die without Christ Jesus then eternal hell awaits them. The Bible says that every knee will bow to Jesus - if you do not bow before Jesus here on earth, you will bow in eterntiy but then the opportunity to be saved is past.
Isaiah 45: 22 - 23 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

In conclusion, as Christians, our faith has nothing in common with the other religions of the world. All their great men have died and are dead still today. Our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day and ascended into Heaven. And there He is preparing a home for each of us who put our faith and trust in Him alone. We look forward to Jesus returning to take us home to be with Him for all eternity.
Acts 1: 10-11  And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Titus 2: 12-14  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Thoughts from Jan Markel on Israel, Iran, War, Muslim Brotherhood, etc

Matthew 24: 3-8 says
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.

I want to post an article written by Jan Markel as it is very informative in relation to the news of the day - including Hurricane Isaac, Israel/Iran conflicts, war, Syria, US politics.
I would encourage everyone reading this to get in touch with Jan Markel's ministry  -  www.olivetreeviews.org  where you can sign up for emails, newsletters etc. Please take the time to read all of Jan's article that I have posted here. She writes...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Decent into Darkness  (written by Jan Markel )

Joel Rosenberg calls the Middle East the "epicenter." One Bible translation calls it the "navel (center) of the earth." While your church pulpit may not focus on it, the world's media does but they don't have their lens properly focused. Because of the silence in the church, most Christians yawn at the topic. I urge you to listen up!

Some news reports say that Iran will have "the bomb" by October 1.  OK, so you have "Iran fatigue." We've heard this news forever and by now it's just crying wolf. Actually, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk called the whole situation "crying wolf." That is a reckless way to blow off a potentially lethal scenario.

Columnist Daniel Greenfield writes that Israel will act, and before the U.S. election November 6. He states, "The liberal West has its illusions about the enemy. Israel has little room for those illusions. It will act because it is alone as few other countries on earth are. It will act because it cannot afford to be Poland, Czechoslovakia or Tibet -- sacrificed in the great game of nations. It will act because it has no real choice but to act. It will act because for it this is not a set of talking points, a diplomatic program, or a regional agenda, it is life or death. It will act, because for all its flaws, its survival is on the line."

There are many statements that Israel can only rely on herself. In their current state of spiritual blindness, most Israelis are not willing to say that God would never allow a nuclear strike against them. And I believe He would not.

But Israel cannot be called a "cancerous tumor" much longer and be reminded that Tel Aviv will be reduced to ashes any minute without responding.  British officials say Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has begun a process of 'sounding out' his voters to gauge support for airstrikes and build a case for military action.

Israeli leaders believe that President Obama, locked in a close election battle with Republican Mitt Romney, would be forced to back an Israeli strike -- even though US military chiefs are against it -- for fear of alienating Jewish voters in key swing states such as Florida. Thus now is the perfect time. The golden opportunity window is the month of September when both presidential candidates are focused like a laser beam on their election.

Moving on in the region, the destruction of Syria is now in full swing. What began as a popular uprising 18 months ago is now an all-out civil war fueled by regional and global powers that threaten to engulf the entire Middle East. Reports indicate that the Syrian "rebels" are just plain old al-Qaida terrorists who are doing what they do best: Terrorize. So there isn't even a side for which we can root! It's absolute evil vs. absolute evil. And that means that absolute evil is in charge of a massive number of chemical weapons. And according to Isaiah 17, there could be an Israeli strike on Damascus at any time.

Additionally, last week Iran's ally in Lebanon, Hezbollah, held its largest-ever military exercise which can only be seen as preparation for a possible imminent war between Israel and Iran.

Thanks to the White House and the State Department in the U.S., the Muslim Brotherhood is now ensconced in various parts of the Middle East. The current regime in Washington called them a "good-old boys' club" last winter. It was suggested that the Brotherhood somewhat resembled the Lutheran Brotherhood: They focused on good deeds. It was suggested that the Muslim Brotherhood was secular and anything but dangerous. Those benign, secular do-gooders in Egypt have been tormenting political opponents and Christians and crucified at least one innocent kid. The bottom line is that they are anything but a bunch of Boy Scouts.

Islamic critic Pamela Geller writes, "Egypt's President Morsi is instituting a reign of terror to consolidate power, and if Egypt is now descending into darkness, can other Mideast nations be far behind?"

Egypt is the "King of the South" in Bible prophecy. She plays a prominent role in end-time battles which are forming alliances now.

Someone who tells the inconvenient truth as I often do is Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. She has been raising questions about possible ties between the family of Huma Abedin, a top aide of Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and the Muslim Brotherhood. She and a handful of others have called for an inquiry into a potential Muslim Brotherhood infiltration within the Obama administration.

One who has tackled this issue is Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor who put the blind sheik behind bars in the first World Trade Center bombing. He is the author of The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America. He believes Bachmann has been proved right in her Muslim Brotherhood inquiries.

McCarthy states, "Congresswoman Bachmann knows Washington well enough not to be holding her breath waiting for an apology. What is really stunning and demoralizing to me, though, is that only 5 members of Congress out of 535 have had the conscientiousness and courage to stand up and be counted on this.

"We have an obvious national security problem, and it goes way beyond Huma Abedin. We have several people with significant Islamist ties being consulted by our government on foreign and domestic policy, including counter-terrorism policy. We are simultaneously seeing American policy shift dramatically in a direction that favors the Muslim Brotherhood, an avowed incorrigible enemy of America and the West."

McCarthy concludes, "Yet we can't get even one percent of our elected federal representatives to raise an eyebrow? I speak to a lot of people around the country and a lot more than one percent of them are worried about what's happening."

The Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates are being consulted on counter-terrorism policy -- to the point that our federal agencies are purging their training materials of references to Islam.

Another who has been diligently reporting on this is Walid Shoebat. Find out more info about his efforts here.

While I tend to vote for the right side of a political ticket, one can't help but wonder why this is the third Republican convention in a row to be interrupted by a hurricane! It got into gear this year just as they solidified a two-state "solution" as part of their platform last week.

Jewish Congressman Eric Cantor (R-VA) and AIPAC, the largest pro-Israel Jewish lobby, pushed for a "two-state" position to be included in the Republican platform. It was approved by vote last Tuesday (the day Isaac began) and is now awaiting formal approval at the Republican Convention. A Bachmann representative offered a one-state solution but Rep. Eric Cantor and AIPAC encouraged the two-state solution. The irony of ironies:  The Christians stand for Israel, while the Jewish voices prevailed with Palestinian accommodation!

Hurricane Isaac falls on the seventh anniversary of Katrina, an event forever seared into our minds and hearts. To keep up on some incredible comparisons, sign up for White House correspondent Bill Koenig's postings and e-alerts. Find that info here. Bill is one of our speakers at "Understanding the Times 2012."  His weekly e-newsletter is essential to understand the times.

So there you go. The pesky Middle East is just always in the way. It is always a nuisance. It is always whispering the inconvenient truth. And it's descending into darkness.

Is anybody listening?

Israel, Iran and the Psalm 83 War

We are constantly hearing in the news of the changes that are happening in the middle east. We wonder if the tension can get any tighter before everything comes to a head and an all out war takes place. We have seen dictators fall and the Muslim Brotherhood gaining power in many of these places. We see Israel preparing their people for war and Iran continually threatening to wipe Israel off the map. What does it all mean and where is it heading?
Many Bible prophecy experts are saying that we are witnessing the prophecy of the Bible being fulfilled right before our very eyes. They are saying that the falling of the dictators is a preparation for the Psalm 83 war to be fullfilled. Please read all of Psalm 83 here:
Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
 6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
 7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
 14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.

Notice verse 4 were it says exactly what Iran is saying very regularly-  Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. Iran is saying those very words. I am no great prophecy expert but I would suggest that we lift up our eyes and watch what is on the horizon. Either Israel and Iran are bluffing or we are about to witness the group of countries (the confederate from verse 5) listed in Psalm 83 coming against Israel.  We can also see what the outcome of this war will be according to verses 17 and 18 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.  In the end everyone will know that the Lord God Jehovah is the only One true God - the most high over all the earth. To explain some of what Psalm 83 is describing, I would like to post a few paragraphs from John McTernan's blog - www.defendproclaimthefaith.org
as he is pretty clear what he understands from Scripture. He says in his blog:
Israel is now publicly admitting what was so obvious; that the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to create a ring around Israel. This is the Psalm 83 and Obadiah war. Israel is now admitting what is happening. The key to watch is Jordan

The drumbeat for war in the Middle East is now non-stop. Israel is preparing for this war and all fronts. I have several articles to keep you on the cutting edge of what is happening.
This war is going to be much more bloody than most people can imagine. It will turn into an Islamic holy war to destroy Israel. The entire Muslim Middle East will be drawn in. In the end, Israel will be damaged but left standing while entire Arab nations are going to disappear along with Islam being shattered.

It really does look like this Fall and into 2013 could turn into an incredible time of turmoil. If you are anchored in the Lord Jesus nothing will shake your faith. As crunch time approaches for war in the Middle East and the world economy, keep your spiritual eyes glued on Lord Jesus and His coming for the bride.
May the Holy God of Israel bless and protect you.
End of quotes from John McTernan
I would like to post a map of Israel and its neighbors just to get a picture in our minds some of the countries we are looking at.

John 14:6 says  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
At this time I would like to encourage everyone reading this blog post, regardless of the country you live or what religion you belong to, if you are a Muslim come to Jesus - He is the only way to be saved! - Come to Jesus for salvation today. It is better to be on the Jesus's winning team and we know without any doubt at all that Jesus wins!! The Olympics - London 2012

1 Corinthians 9:25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
London is currently hosting the Olympic games 2012. Many people are caught up in the excitement of it all. Our athletes have worked very hard to get to where they are - able to compete on the world stage and much money and time has been spent to prepare for this event. We are happy for our athletes when they win their medals and we are proud to see our country's flag held up.
I want to discuss two aspects of this applied to our spiritual life. The first is taking pride in our country and the second is putting effort into our goals.

Taking Pride in your Country - I am happy and thankful to be a Canadian. We are blessed with a good life here - peace, freedom, shelter and plenty of food available. You could say I am proud to be Canadian.  More importantly than that though and what I value more than my Canadian citizenship is the fact that I am a Christian. Phillipians 3:20 says  For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ
Our Citizenship is HEAVEN! When this life is over and we are gathered together in Heaven, it will not matter if you were a Canadian, or American, or Russian, Chinese or Iranian etc. All that will matter is that Christ Jesus is your Savior.  We will not be in competetion with each other - all of those that are gathered together in Heaven with the Lord are one huge happy family. So my question is - Why as Christians are we shy about wearing our Heavenly colors here? If we take pride in our country and earthly citizenship - should we not be even more bold about representing Christ here on earth? We should be willing to take a stand for Christ, be bold in witnessing, and share the truth of the Gospel even if it means we are frowned upon by the world. Christ is our passion. He is our hope. It is for Christ that we live! One thing that I have admired about the Muslim peoples in our world is that they are not ashamed to wear their religion so everyone can see what they believe. If you are out and about, perhaps shopping - you can clearly see the Muslims carrying their faith with them. We have a local doctor here who is Muslim and she wears her head scarf as she works. The Muslim faith is a false faith and can never bring them to God. It is not that I am embracing their faith, I am only saying they are not ashamed to show it. The fact that we are Christians should stand out. People should be able to see it in how we love, in our values, our focus in life, our choices in education and dress and entertainment. James McDonald has said ( this is not a direct quote)  As Christians, we should not allow ourselves to be entertained by pagans who take the Name of our Lord Jesus in vain and deny His teachings we find in the Bible.

Put Effort into your Goals - Just as our atheletes have spent hours, days, months and years in training and disciplining themselves to prepare for the Olympics London 2012, so also we need to be putting effort and discipline into our Christian life on a daily basis. If as Christians, we say that we are living for Christ, then Christ should have His way in every part of our life. There cannot be any part of our lives that He is not welcome in. He must have authority in our jobs, in our marriage, in our sex life, in our recreational choices, in our finances, etc. The Bible has clear teachings on what the life of a Christian looks like. The questions we must continually be asking oursleves are  - Does this please Christ? Does it bring Glory to Christ? Do I want this for a selfish pleasure or will Christ be honored in it? Is it of this world alone or does it benefit for eternity? Will it help another person?
If we are focused on the Blessed Hope -(Titus 2:13   looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,)   We wait for Jesus to come at any time, and we know that we will give account for our choices here, and rewards are available to us (for that which we have done for the Lord ) at the judgement seat of Christ. We now have a whole new way of looking at our life that we live here on earth.  We love what God loves and hate what God hates.

Luke 13: 23-25
23 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?”
And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’
