Anne Graham Lotz - 9 1 1: An Emergency Recall to Pray for Jerusalem

Here is an important message from Anne Graham Lotz. She is inviting on Christians to stand with her in a time of prayer for Israel on September 1, 2015. Please do read the following letter from Anne Graham Lotz and then prepare your heart to earnestly pray on September 1.

Anne Graham Lotz

Anne Graham Lotz writes the following:

9 1 1: An Emergency Recall to Pray for Jerusalem

Less than one week ago, on August 19th, I said good-bye to my husband of almost forty-nine years. At that moment, the only thing that truly mattered was the decision he made as a five year old boy in vacation Bible school to trust Jesus as his Savior. As a result, he knew for the rest of his life that his sins were forgiven, he possessed eternal life, and he had peace with God. What a gift his faith was, and continues to be, to his family and friends. We know our good-byes were not final. We grieve, but with hope. We know we will see Danny Lotz again in Our Father’s House not because of anything that he has done, but because of God’s amazing grace extended to him at the Cross.
Several weeks ago, not knowing that Danny would soon step into eternity, I had a burden on my heart to once again pray for Jerusalem. I had decided to issue a Recall to Pray on September 1st, similar to the urgent call for prayer I had issued last September.
911_600xI have a sense that something significant is going to happen in the very near future that involves the Epicenter—Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.  This foreboding has been confirmed by many indicators …
  • Renewed missile attacks from Gaza on Israel’s southern communities during the first weekend of this August
  • The deployment of the Iron Dome in the north to try and protect Israelis from expected incoming Hezbollah rockets
  • The tsunami of cash that will flow into Iran, then through Iran to terrorists around the globe, as a result of the “Nuclear Deal” John Kerry has negotiated that includes the lifting of sanctions against Iran
  • The fragile coalition Prime Minister Netanyahu has pieced together for his government that seems to lack unity of vision and strength of resolve
  • The strained relationship between Israel and the US as our leaders have taken this nation to the dark side of Biblical prophecy because we no longer bless the descendants of Abraham by standing solidly with them against their enemies
  • The fourth blood moon on September 28 considered by rabbis to be an omen for Israel that will also be a super moon seen over Jerusalem
  • The alarming rise of worldwide anti-Semitism
  • The end of the Jewish Shemitah Year on September 13 and the beginning of the Jubilee Year on September 28—both very significant in Biblical prophecy.
God has impressed on my heart to help “pre-prayer” Jerusalem for whatever He knows is coming. I am seeking to rally His people with 9 1 1:  An Emergency Recall to Pray for Jerusalem.
No signup is necessary.  On September 1st an updated prayer that I have written will be available on our website so that we will all be “on the same page,” praying with one heart and mind. Please don’t feel confined to this prayer, but use it to help focus your own.
Would you Facebook, tweet, or email this to everyone you can?
When war breaks out or missiles explode or terrorists attack… when Israelis are killed…how many families will be left to grieve without hope? I know that there will be no permanent physical peace until the Prince of Peace returns and establishes His reign. There is no hope for the Epicenter except Jesus. Therefore, the purpose of our prayer is four-fold:
  • For God to pour out His Spirit of grace and supplication on Jerusalem
  • For God to open her eyes to recognize her Messiah…Yeshua…Jesus
  • For God to break her heart for her sin and rejection of Him
  • For God to save her spiritually and physically as she cries out to Him… and for Him to grant her permanent peace
The prophet Daniel prayed for Jerusalem during her dark days of captivity.  God not only answered and delivered His people, but sent word that Daniel was highly esteemed in Heaven because he had stood in the gap for them…on his knees. I, too, want to be a person highly esteemed in Heaven for the same reason. (Daniel 9:23)
Thank you for joining me in prayer for the city and the people that God loves as we pray  in agreement with His Word, and are therefore confident He will hear our prayers and answer…
For the glory of Yeshua,annemarch2013_125px

Abba Father - Our Heavenly Father

Today I would like to share some thoughts with you about our loving Heavenly Father - our Abba Father.  Our earthly fathers are not perfect and they fail us sometimes, but our Heavenly Father is our perfect Father and He longs for us to be in relationship with Him.
My Dad passed away in July 2004 - so that is 11 years ago already. I do miss him still. He was a kind, generous and gentle man and so fond of his grandchildren. He loved the Lord and served Him right to the end.  Several years after his passing, a time of intense storm and sorrow entered my life and I found myself wishing that my Dad was still here, because I knew that if I told him my problem, he would be able to give me insight and direction regarding my situation. As I pondered my need of my Dad, the Lord spoke into my heart and said "I am your Father - you can tell me". That was such a blessing from the Lord, such an encouragement for me, to know that I have a Father in Heaven ( the Creator of the universe ) cares about me and wants me to bring my problems to Him. I would like to encourage everyone here to bring your problems to the Lord. Seek Him and study the Bible to find direction in your life and for the answers to your problems. Tell the Lord everything, hold nothing back. He sees you and He knows you and loves you completely.

In Mark 14 we read how Jesus struggled in prayer before his arrest in the Garden of  Gethsemane. In verse 36 we read -  "And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt."

The term "Abba" means Daddy -  it shows endearment and also the sense of belonging. Jesus is the Son of God. Those of us who are saved through faith in the Lord Jesus and His finished work on the cross belong in the family of God, and God is our Father, our "Daddy". I remember hearing a speaker say that while he was in Israel on a bus, he heard a young boy refer to his dad as Abba. This is a good picture for us to remember. We are on the this journey of life, but we are not alone - our Abba Father is with us, and we can call on Him anytime day or night. He is always near, and He has promised to never leave us or forsake us.

Hebrews 13:5-6 - for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Application

He is the Father who cares for us -
He comforts us. Our cares are His cares. When something bothers or troubles us, we can tell our Heavenly Father. He is always available, listening for us to come to Him and He responds to our questions.
1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

He is the Father who Provides for us -
He provides for us. He is our Father. We can depend on Him to supply every need in our life. He sees our needs and provides for us. We do not need to be afraid.

He is the Father who protects-
His watchful eye is upon us to guard me against the evil intentions of those who would hurt me. His watching eyes see what is happening.
Proverbs 5: 21  For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.

He is the Father who loves us-
The love of our Heavenly Father is a love that allows circumstances into our lives that are going to build our character and give us the opportunity to become more like Jesus. This kind of love is not always pleasant and includes the love of discipline.

He is the Father who knows best -
My Father loves us and will not give us unhealthy or useless things when we beg for them - simply because Father knows best. He has a goal in mind for me and we need to choose to line up our desires and wishes with that which He decides is best for us.  He wants only what is best for us. When He says "Don't do that" - it is for our own good and to keep us from getting hurt.

He is the Father who disciplines us -
He disciplines us even though it is not pleasant at the time. He disciplines us for our good.  He will also discipline those who seek to harm His children.

Romans 8:14-15
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

God bless!

A Frightening Breakfast......

The picture below pretty much tells the story. I decided to have a fresh peach for my breakfast this morning. It looked perfectly ripe and so juicy.  So I peeled and sliced it open. Then I suddenly became horrified ....I cut the peach and the pit popped open as I cut through the middle of the peach. There in the center of the peach was this bug - it was ALIVE!!! Suddenly I was no longer hungry for peaches. Has anyone else ever experienced similar? I contacted our local Coop Food Store as that is where we bought the peaches. I do not know what kind of bug it is or if it is dangerous or not.

Why I read the King James Bible....

Photo - kingjamesbibleonline.org

Today I would like to share with you why I read the King James Bible. I realize that many of you
who read my blog use a variety of translations, but I do feel lead of the Lord to share this here. I am not saying that you should not read any other translation than the King James, I am only sharing my experience and would encourage you to seek the Lord's will for your life.

As I was growing up, I read the King James Bible. I remember exactly when and how I decided to begin reading the Bible. I was and still am very close to my sister Mary, and as the Lord began working in her life she began to read her Bible every evening. I was so close to her and so when she read her Bible I had no idea what to do with my time. So I followed her lead and also began to read my Bible, I have read it daily ever since and the Lord has ministered to me and spoken to me through His Word. As we got older, my parents introduced us to the NIV Bible as well. My Dad was a preacher of the gospel in the church we attended and he studied the Bible a lot. He purchased a variety of the translations that were available in those days years ago for studying purposes and so it was. When he didn't fully understand something, he would go to his old German Bible for clarity.

Now I want to tell you the reason why I read the King James Bible and why I have decided to stick with it.  Now in order for you to understand you need to know that I always have had the utmost respect for my Dad. I have always believed what he said was true, he was a man of great wisdom and honor, a true man of God. My Dad has passed away in 2004. About 3 or so  years ago I had a dream in the night. In my dream my Dad told me that I was rebellious. This startled me very much and when I woke up I could not get it out of my mind. I knew I needed to seek the Lord and find out what area in my life was causing me to be rebellious in the sight of the Lord. I believe the Lord showed me that I was rebellious in my reading other translations of the Bible while knowing in my heart that these translations had unnecessary changes in them. At the time I was mostly reading the NASB.  As soon I understood this I immediately went online and ordered a King James Bible from ebay. I can tell you that I have peace about this. I feel that the Lord put my Dad in my dream to tell me that I was rebellious because the Lord knew I would listen to my Dad. I believe that the more translations that are coming out, more and more of them have been changed by those who do not know the true word of God.
Since then, a few things have happened. As I said my Dad passed away in 2004. In the years since then so many Bible translations have come out that you probably cannot  keep up with it. There is a Bible called the queen James Bible that is for homosexuals, created so as to not offend homosexuals while the Bible clearly states that those who live in homosexuality are not believers. If there are any homosexuals reading this or if you support homosexuality in any way, you need to repent before the Lord and be saved.  And there is a bible that is supposedly not offensive to Muslims. The Muslim's god is allah and this is in no way the same God who created the world. Allah is of the devil and is against Jesus Christ and against the true God of the Bible. We must not change the Bible, we must let the Bible speak to us and it will show us where we need to be corrected and it will convict us of our sin. This is for our good and our salvation.  I have also learned that the writers of these new translations must change a good percentage of the words in the Bible in order to get copyrights. This is not acceptable.
Some people claim they cannot understand the old language that the King James Bible uses. I believe this is used as an excuse, the more you read it the better you will understand it. The Holy Spirit will help you to understand. In my opinion the NLT reads like a Bible Story book for children and can be used as a Bible story book. I also believe that God is able to use most any translation to get your attention and draw you to Himself. But we need to be willing to obey Him as He grows us in His time. I believe He uses nature to speak to us as well and to draw us unto Himself.

I want to show you 2 examples from the New Testament of the changes that other translations make.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ( King James )

God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life. ( NIVR )

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. ( NLT )

Note : It is important to know that Jesus is God`s only begotten Son.

Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, ( King James Bible )

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me.
    He has anointed me
to announce the good news to poor people.
He has sent me to announce freedom for prisoners.
He has sent me so that the blind will see again.
He wants me to set free those who are treated badly. (NIVR)

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
    that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free, ( NLT )

Note : Notice that the part that Jesus heals the broken hearted is missing from the newer translations.

Here is the link to this week's update :

Prophecy Update JD Farag - August 2,2015

Pastor J.D. explains why Bible prophecies that are in play today cannot logically still be in play years from today.
